By accessing or using Student Stays, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Student Stays is an exclusive platform for verified students at select universities. By using our services, you confirm that you are a current student with a valid .edu email address.
2. Eligibility
To use Student Stays, you must be a verified student at one of our partner institutions with a valid .edu email address. We currently support students from Ivy League schools, MIT, Stanford, and select MBA programs. We reserve the right to verify your student status at any time.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
4. Listings and Bookings
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Guests agree to treat properties with respect and follow all house rules. All bookings are subject to host approval unless instant booking is enabled. Payments are processed securely through our platform.
5. Payments and Fees
Student Stays charges a small service fee to maintain the platform. Payments are held securely until 24 hours after check-in. Refund policies vary based on the host's cancellation policy selected for each listing.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not use the platform for illegal activities, harassment, fraud, or any conduct that violates university policies. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
Student Stays acts as a platform connecting students. We are not responsible for the condition of properties, actions of users, or disputes between hosts and guests. Users are encouraged to communicate clearly and report any issues promptly.
